Oral history interview with Helen Blumenthal, April 5, 1973.

Blumenthal briefly describes her early life, marriage, and family. She then discusses her work in services for the blind. Blumenthal started a braille transcribing program in the Temple de Hirsch Sisterhood while she was president (ca. 1923). She mentions the national Jewish Literature for the Blind program and Seattle institutions such as Community Services for the Blind and Lighthouse for the Blind.
